When I saw Living with Lindsay's Book Page Wreath, I knew I had to make one of these gorgeous wreaths! I sat down to make it during my little man's 1.5 hour nap and thought it I would easily have it done by the time he woke up.... oh no. Try an entire bag of hot glue sticks and many hours after little man went to bed.... then it was done!! Seriously, at one point, I about threw it out the window. It definitely had an 'ugly duckling' phase. But now I love it! I think it looks good on my fireplace. Now if only my hot glue burns will just fade a bit.... (yes, a low heat hot glue gun in on my Christmas list :)
This is the book I used. I got it from a thrift store after I found out I was preggo with little man. It's a bit dated and I didn't like it much, so it was the lucky book chosen to get sacrificed.
oooh, i love how that turned out!!!

ReplyDeleteI love the fullness! I'm waiting to make mine this weekend!
ReplyDeleteI love it! :) To save yourself some burns, keep a bowl of ice water next to you when you are gluing. Thats what I do.
