zipper....rectangularish square?

i know i say it all the time, but i have best readers!! thank you for your comments, emails, questions, suggestions, links, etc. i am always touched that you take the time to email me. thanks!! i love hearing from each of you.

this project was inspired by a link Pamela sent me a to this fab Express zipper headband. Pamela was so cute, she said when she say this headband she thought of me. aww, shucks! that made me feel warm and fuzzy :) after checkin out Express's rockin headband, i was bound and determined to make a zipper pentagon like theirs.... but uh...well, that didn't turn out so well...it became a rhombus or some unknown geometric shape. so i decided to try a square instead.....
and as you can see, it's more rectangularish {is that word?} than square. now my dilemma is, do you think it will work on a headband? or is it too weird shaped? or am i just self conscious about it? should i do something different with it? what do you think?
*i am still determined to make a pentagon one of these days. my addiction won't let me give up*

  9. These are great. Some of the best inventions came about because something didn't turn out as planed. Keep up the good work!
