check out the nursing cover i just finished! LOVE gray and yellow together. isn't this Eclipse line from Exclusively Quilters to die for? since we don't know the baby's gender, i thought this fabric was perfect. not too girly, but too manly. what do you think?
after consulting the lovely ladies on CA's FB page, i decided to go with D-rings for the neck strap. i kinda wanted to do velcro, but the noise issue and the washing issue weren't looking so hot. plus Heather had a good point, velcro does weaken over time. SO D-rings it was. thanks for your input ladies!!
and i know you're going to ask where i bought my fabric, i got it from The Ribbon Retreat.
I love the gray and yellow! You're right - perfect gender neutral choice!
ReplyDeleteI love the fabric ou picked out! Yellow and grey are one of my fave color combinations for this fall!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful! Love the color/fabric choices. :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous colors and I think the choice against velcro was wise. I remember a nurse telling me that whenever she needed to wake up sleeping babies she ripped apart a length of velcro - babies hate the sound.
ReplyDeletei love it, linda!!!
ReplyDeleteI think it's perfect for either gender, great choice of colors! I bet you can't wait to use it. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the yellow and gray!! What pattern do you use? I was thinking of making a second one for my niece!
ReplyDeletei loooove the fabric. love the combination.

ReplyDeleteThat's perfect! I love the colors together. Good job!
ReplyDeletePerfect! Love the colors and the D ring should work great. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteLove this...by the way - did you put a little wire in the top part so it tents out and you can see the baby's face or does it just hang over you? I'm due in early Nov. and I've been wanting to make one of these for myself but have been debating about the wire issue...
ReplyDeleteLOVE IT!!!! I have one that has D rings and you won't be disappointed! I love having them, it's nice when you are nursing and can use one hand to change the size if you need :)
