Valentine's Day door decor

 valentine's day is a big day around here.....i'm not sure why.....hmmm maybe it has something to do with it being my b-day!!! {and this year, i got quite the celebration coming your way ;o) more details to come soon}
ANYWAYS this is my fab door decor: up-cycled tees turned whimsical pom poms and pretty bow.
 pom poms are so perfect for valentine's day. they're fun and flirty!
with a red front door, i decided to go with slightly non-traditional valentine's day colors- hot pink, plum, and aqua....ok, so maybe it just so happened that i didn't wear these 3 shirts anymore! plus i like to do things just a little different ;o)

*check back for a tutorial on how to turn t-shirts into pom poms.*

  39. I'm too embarrassed to admit exactly how many times I've come back for the pom pom tutorial. But just know... it's A LOT! I bought some bright, fun knits today (because the New Year's closet purge is complete). I'm dying to make this cute Valentine door decor (and some cute felt garland in the same colors) to make my house look all lovey and hearty! GREAT GREAT GREAT twist on the ol' wreaths for every season.
