Seven Years of Plenty book GIVEAWAY

this giveaway has closed!
today i'm going to tell you about Linda. not me... my friend Linda! Linda Olsson, the author of the incredible book, Seven Years of Plenty. Linda is the mom to three energetic boys {i can vouch for that! i took their family photos this summer and those boys don't hold still! lol} and she is "married to her favorite person." she is one of the sweetest gals i've ever met! i met Linda and her fun family at church a couple years ago when they moved into the area. little did i know that Linda is a food storage guru! she took 2 years to compile recipes from all around the world using basic ingredients that are commonly stored {such as beans, rice, oats, and wheat} and put together a planning section in the book that guides you through making your own 3 month plan of meals. then she shows you how to turn that into lists of storable ingredients. she did an excellent job on this book! i am so proud to call her my friend!

i love how Linda breaks it down and makes food storage do-able and tasty! i've tasted a couple of her recipes and i would never have guessed you could make such delectable foods using your food storage!
Linda also provides the background and other tidbits of info about foods and where they came from.
