Q: Can you create custom text to use on the letterpress? can you order custom templates? {for example, one reader is getting married and she is designing her invites, menus, etc so she would need to do completely custom lettering}

boy oh boy, do i have a *killer giveaway* for you guys today!! one lucky reader is going to *win an Epic Letterpress Combo* from Lifestyle Crafts! yippee! after i posted a Review on the Epic Letterpress a couple weeks ago {find it here} i received several emails and questions from you lovely ladies. i didn't know all the answers so i asked Lifestyle Crafts and here is what they said:
Q: Can you create custom text to use on the letterpress? can you order custom templates? {for example, one reader is getting married and she is designing her invites, menus, etc so she would need to do completely custom lettering}
A: We have a custom plate option online. You upload your own pdf and we will send you a custom plate in 2-4 weeks for $39.
Q: Do you have to buy plates for each design? Or is there a way to create your own?
A: yes unless you create your own design
Q: is the Epic only available online?
A: It is also available at independent craft stores, Hobby Lobby, Archivers, as well as online.
Q: Can you run the Epic paper through an inkjet printer and then use the letterpress to add a design?
A: Yes the letterpress paper should run through an inkjet printer without any problems.
Q: Will the letterpress ink work on non-letterpress paper?
A: Yes it works but you don't get a deboss and it's more of a printing process rather than the deboss and ink at the same time.
i love that one minute you're using the Epic as a letterpress and then the next, you're cutting out adorable cupcake wrappers! a 2 in 1 tool rocks. plus the Epic is compatible with other brands of die cuts.
