I have to share one last Christmas gift I made. Simply because my hubby loved them and seriously asked, "When are you going to make us some of these?" Wow. Did he really say that? Did he just ask me to do a craft?! Since when did burlap sing his song?
So I figure if Mr. Craftaholics Anonymous liked it, you guys just might too.
Simple numbered Place Mats made out of my fav shade of burlap, Chocolate Brown.
With a matching Table Runner.

That IS kind of amazing that the hubby asked you to make them (at least if he's anything like mine - supportive of my projects, but not exactly excited! :-)). Love them!

I'm visiting from MMB. I love these placemats!! My fabric store is always out of the brown burlap. :(
ReplyDeleteCute blog by the way!
I adore these. Adore.these. And you just helped me out soo much-- I am waiting and waiting to make a table runner, complete with some french wording- and I thought I needed to sew the ends, but I knew I loved the frayed look. Seeing yours just solidified the plans. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI am such a dunce with crafting. I don't know how to do much so a tutorial would be great! Where do you even buy burlap? I've never made anything with it.
ReplyDeleteThese are so great. I love the font of the no. 1 etc. Adorable. I have TONS of this color burlap. I love the color, too, but really need to actually make something with it. Duh!
