zipper ruffle ballet flats

I know, I know, here I go again with my zippers!! BUT at least it's not a zipper flower. this time..... Anyways, I found these basic gray (haha, get it?) ballet flats on clearance for a few bucks at TJ Maxx. I added a double zipper ruffle to the front and they went from drab to fab in a matter of minutes! And let me tell ya, I LOVE 'em. L.O.V.E. them.

I was a little worried that the ruffle might not work, but the ruffles actually turned out so much better than I thought!! Can I say it one more time, I love how these turned out!

  36. That is so cute I can't hardly stand it. Did you attach the zipper with E6000 or something similar? I can't believe how well the color of the zipper matches the color of the shoes. It looks really nice.
