dinosaurs OR flowers?

OR
????
which burp cloths do you think this baby will use?

cast your vote on my sidebar poll. i'll leave the poll open until the baby comes. :)

on a side note, i am starting to realize that not finding out the baby's gender makes it twice as hard to get ready. the last couple days, i've been making burp cloths and i can't just make one set of burp cloths, i have to make a girl set AND a boy set. sigh. just means i get to craft more. HA!

  1. Cute Cute! I'll be hoping for the flowers for you. :)

I love your maternity re-fashions, etc. I have to tell you I just scored major deals at kohls the other day... They have cute t-shirt and v-necks in their jr dept for $4.00!!! I bought the size large and they are awesome for maternity t's. They are cute with cap sleeves too. I'm totally with you about the maternity clothes not screaming maternity. Why do they make them for women who seem to be the age 40+! Don't they know us young girls get pregnant and want to look cute!?

  2. Yes, and then you can sell the rest via the blog after the baby comes. Both are equally as cute.

  3. You are so brave to not find out! It would have driven me nuts to not know. I'll be hoping for flowers for you :)

  5. I'm thinking dinos are in your future! BTW, I have 7 children and never found out their gender till they were born. It's the best surprise ever!

  6. There are a lot of gender neutral fabrics out there, cute for boys and girls.. just a thought. I'm gonna cast my vote!

  7. Loving the dinosaurs.
With our first I refused to find out--I wanted it to be surprise but I kept having dreams about HER and HER face and HER hair. At the end of that pregnancy I began having dreams that we also had a boy. So, 12 months after my daughter was born we had our son.
    Are you having dreams?

I so left this message on a wrong blog--oops! but I sent and received my gift from my partner--so cute! Thanks for organizing.

  8. I didn't find out with my last baby and I was the most relaxed about the gender that I've ever been. I thought it was because I had one of each already, but with another baby on the way, I'm dying to find out!! (This morning actually!!!!) When's your due date? It looks like we may be due about the same time.

  10. How fun that you are not finding out! I didn't find out with my third baby and it was really fun. Stay strong!

  11. At least you are crafting for both!! I just keep saying well I'll just wait and make stuff later...yeah, with a newborn and a 17 month old...ha!

  12. We only found out gender with our first kiddo...the next three were surprises, and it was SO fun. I commend you for being wise enough to let it be a surprise. Make lots of both...and then if you have to, you have gifts for the future, or really, just use them all. Baby won't care what's on them. :)

  14. Dinosaurs! I have a feeling you will need the dino's.

  15. I think the flowers will get the most use...but it's always nice to have some back up's even if they are dinosaurs!

  16. Oh, I love the dinosaurs! Cute stuff.

I've started a Christmas in July challenge on my blog. Would you be interested in joining in?

  17. I don't know what I'm having either and it's driving me crazy!!! I plan on finding out though, I'm not as strong as you :-)

What have your symptoms been like? The same as last time? What are you craving? I can usually tell by these things!

  18. It is so neat that you are going to let it be a surprise! I think the flowers would be fun for you!

  20. I bet you're having a baby girl, so I'd go for the flowers as a burp cloth. BTW, those fabrics are cute. I'd love to make some hair accessories out of it. =)

  21. Thos fabrics are awesome! And I'm really impressed that you're not finding out the gender of your baby until birth! I couldn't wait with my two. :) I voted boy. Only because most people I know (including myself) seem to be having two of the same gender. Good luck with everything!

  22. I'll guess.... another boy!

  23. I don't know how you do it! I could not wait that long- I thought 20 weeks to find out the sex of both my pregnancies was TOO LONG!

Good luck! I'm guessing a boy, but I hope it's a girl- girls are so much fun!

  25. I love the dinosaur fabrics (what I will be using for this little one coming in November). Can you let us know where you bought them, please?

  26. I am SOOOOOOOO proud of you! It is an awesome feeling when you wait and the doctor says "It's a ..!". About my guess, when's your due date? Need a little info then I'll guess. I'll share my tip with you later. :-) lol Know the feeling of buying/making boy/girl items. You'll have a great start on your gift closet! heehee

  27. why not both?
girls like dinossaurs. aren't boys aloud to like flowers???

    ReplyDelete
  28. Love these! Thanks for the tutorial also :)

We didn't find out with either of our babies, and I agree those last weeks are torture. It really screws with your nesting instinct, ha!

My problem was with shopping. I'd go shopping and buy both boy and girl clothes. I just told myself that I would return what I didn't need after the big reveal, which I did. It was sale/clearance items, so I didn't want to pass those up. I also waited to do the nursery until after the birth, which isn't the easiest with a new baby at home, but still so worth it to wait! Good luck!!

  29. Use the dinosaurs even if it's a girl!...I really should try to make some of these, seems like even a new sewer like myself could do it. And considering our little one is due in about two months, I should get started.

    Love your blog!

  31. Dinosaurs design is simply the best choice, either if it’s for your baby girl or baby boy.
