I finished my advent calendar! wahoo! Barely in the nick of time since today is December 1st. Better late then never, right? I used baby food jars to hold the candy or prize for each day. (I actually make my own baby food, so I had to scrounge up these jars!:) And I got the black serving tray at Goodwill for a buck. Can't beat that!
Well, I know there's one really excited kid person around here to open the jar each day!
Love it! It's so pretty!
ReplyDeleteIt's perfect! I know I would be excited, I always loved advent calendars when I was little :)
ReplyDeleteThis is great!! I wouldn't have thought of baby food jars! (and props to making your own food....I just started that myself and wow it's so much cheaper!)
ReplyDeleteSo I have an advent half done just like this accept I used the little match boxes covered with paper instead of jars to hold the treat!
It's not the advent I am using this year but hopefully I'll get it done soon and can post it!
As always great crafting Linda!
Great idea, and I LOVE the colors and patterns ... wondering if it's really heavy with some many jars on it?
